GEOCITY: Generation of a geospatial information for the integrated management of urban environments (2007-08)

GEOCITY aims to develop a basic prototype of geospatial information, and structured digital, that meets the specifications of technical quality, ease of use and updating required by a wide variety of management application of urban environment. The prototype will be compounded by different subsystems with update technology in order to perform the cartographic procedures of capturing, structuring and exploitation of data from spaceborne, airborne and terrestrial sources. The project will develop a complete platform to monitor the entire system of map production from the control of the photogrammetric flights to the development and generation of tools. These tools would supply a certain add value to the purely cartographic production as the cadastral information system.  MYTIC: Call: PROFIT - S.I. LINHE Project: Development of new protocols for the integration of digital cameras and LiDAR, NIR and Hyperspectral sensors. (2006-07)

The LINHE project aims to develop applications for forest management based on the combined use of LiDAR data, images from spaceborne (multi and hyperspectral) and airborne sensors (panchromatic, colour, near infrared), and NIR field data from a portable sensor. The integration of the different types of data should be performed in a rapid, intuitive, cost-effective and dynamic way. In order to achieve this objective, new algorithms were developed and existing ones were tested, for the correlation of data collected in the field and those gathered by the different sensors. Specific software (LINHE prototype viewer) was developed to support data gathering and consultations, and it was tested in three different forest ecosystems, so as to validate the tool for forest management purposes. The optimisation of the synergic capabilities derived from the combined use of the different sensors will allow the enhancement of their efficiency and provide accurate information for operational forestry.    PROJECT FIT-330221-2006-10. STEREOVISOR: Application for the use of georeferenced photogrammetric flights. (2002-03)

This project aimed to implement an application for three-dimensional digital restitution, which can be used by user from other sectors. This application is intended to manage 3D photogrammetric images, which is a new business model in the sector of cartography presented at the XX International Congress of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing
